Twin Cities Tango Collective

Twin Cities Tango Collective is a new set of community orchestras dedicated to Argentine tango music in Minneapolis / St. Paul. I started this program to create an access point for local musicians interested in playing tango music. We have two ensembles: an inclusive community orchestra for all levels, and a more advanced audition-based group for professional musicians interested in the style. TCTC is working to create a central space for tango music in Minneapolis by learning arrangements, inviting guest speakers and mentors, performing in concerts, and hosting our own seasonal live-music milonga.

We meet on Wednesday nights at the Center For Performing Arts in South Minneapolis. Last week saw the opening, a huge success. I couldn’t be more excited about our new crew! Join us!
